JUSTICE IN A MULTILEGAL TERRAIN: A REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE ON JUDICIAL PLURALISM AND GOVERNANCE ISSUES

Judicial pluralism is the co-existence of a multiple judicial structure within a given community. These provides complex opportunities, and problems to societal in relation to different sociocultural contexts, government, cohesiveness and justice. To be familiar with the complexities, tensions, and impacts of judicial pluralism, this study examines the interaction between Civil and Sharia (Islamic law) relations in contemporary countries. This research is conducted in order to review the literature on judicial pluralism carries out an extensive literature review. It also recognizes the issues of tensions between. Secular and Islamic law, such as differences of rights and protections, religious and cultural. prejudices, and obstacles to good governance and social integration. The review also looks at the more general impacts of legal diversity on academic research, the establishment of the creation of the people. It gives some of the possible directions where policymakers can do more research in order to do better work, awareness of how judicial pluralism operates and make efforts to foster justice, inclusiveness, and appreciation of diversity in law systems. This investigation is a contribution to research. That attempts to establish equitable and inclusive laws that defend human rights, encourage social. peace, and promote justice to every individual by respecting diversity of judicial traditions and views that exist in modern societies.
